There are a lot of great ideas here ... which ones should we start pursuing? And where (geographically) should we start? Right now, we don't have the resources to do things nationally; so our best bet is to pick a few important areas where we happen to have members, and concentrate there (and once we're successful replicate them more broadly).
A couple of suggestions from the discussions so far: - In Indianapolis, helping in getting the word out about changed polling places - In Ohio and Nevada, thinking about plans involving state blogs and community newspapers - Partnering with the Twitter Vote Project, trying to get good coverage in at-risk communities (see my blog post at http://www.talesfromthe.net/jon/?p=242 ) |

I just made a length post on my blog looking at the information flow with the Philadelphia deceptive flyers, where it took about 10 days to get from the story getting reported until the first mainstream media report that I know of, and asking how we could get the word out more quickly.
